This year’s Council Camporee was a great success!  Held at the beautiful McGloin Ranch, this weekend-long adventure was chock full of games, activities, and projects for Troops, Crews, Ships and Posts!  The theme for the weekend was modeled after the rich historic Irish history of McGloin Ranch.  The Scouts participated in a wide variety of games, competitions, and skill challenges.  The Texas Audubon Society, Leave No Trace, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and The Fire Post added many educational opportunities with their tables, handouts, and demonstrations.  The weather was beautiful, and many Scouts touted the weekend as their, “favorite Scouting event so far”!
